Biography of Mr JAGADISH CV
Mr Jagadish CV was
appointed CEO of Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd. (SSMC) on
December 15, 2006.
SSMC, a dedicated
manufacturer of advanced semiconductor wafers, is a joint venture of NXP
Semiconductors and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC). It was
originally founded by Philips, TSMC and the Economic Development Board
Investment of Singapore (EDBI).
Jagadish uses his vast
experience in the business development arena and semiconductor industry.
• Prior to his
appointment as CEO, Jagadish was the Vice President, Business Operations of
SSMC.
• He is currently a
member of the NXP, Netherlands, Operations management team.
• Jagadish also sits as a
member on the Singapore National Quality Award Governing Council and Power
Quality Advisory Panel (PQAP) of Singapore since 2007
• Vice Chairman of SEMI,
Singapore Regional Advisory Board (RAB) since 2010
• Member of Singapore
Semiconductor Industry Association (SSIA) Board of Advisors since 2011.
• Member of Singapore
Quality Award Governing Council
• He is being listed as
the top 100 most influential leader in the Prestige’s Power List 2014.
Jagadish began his career
as an Engineer with Indian Telephone Industries and National Semiconductors,
Singapore; before advancing to holding several key managerial positions in the
private sector including Philips Singapore. He was a Director with FEI Company
of USA before embarking his career with SSMC, Singapore.
Jagadish holds a first
class honours bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication from the National
Institute of Engineering Mysore, India and completed the International
Executive Program by INSEAD Management School, France
